Julia Jameson is a painter whose work explores spirituality, myth, and the inner landscape through abstraction and symbolism. In an era when many identify as “spiritual but not religious,” her practice seeks to create personal mythologies that map meaning and connection.

Inspired by the desert and sky, Julia draws symbols from nature: mountains as aspiration, water as passage, and storms as inner turmoil. Her process is experimental, using diluted paints, solvents, and organic materials such as beet juice, green tea, and earth pigments collected on her journeys.

Through these elements, she builds layered, contemplative worlds that reflect the depths of both nature and the self—places of stillness, shadow, and transformation.

Abstract painting with rich earthy tones and sharp geometric shapes.
